Learn Isoko Language (About this Blog)
About Us
The idea of creating this blog came to the authors mind in 2014. But because he was fully devoted to his service then he didn't start anything. He has no idea about creating website or blog.
Until 2018 when he took up the initiative to try something. He started by learning how to build website by coding. During his learning, he found out how daunting coding is. He was giving up, but a friend ask him why he is learning coding. He told him the idea, then his friend suggested that he should try blogging. It's free, and easy to create. He tried it and created the first post on 27th of March 2018, and the post was about the first thing everyone need to know in every language if you want to learn it.
Learn A New Language Part 1 (Isoko Language)
And now we have over 25 blog articles posted in this blog about different topics. In January 2019 we started creating pronunciation videos on YouTube. We have only few now but we are making more videos every now and then. Like the videos, subscribe to our channel and share them with those that need the information.
What is the Purpose of this blog?
1. Our goal is to help our audience to learn how to speak, read and write their language well.Speaking may not be a problem to some if they grow up in Isoko land. But they may have challenges reading and writing it with the proper diacritics and accent.
Then for those of our Isokos in diaspora who their parent did not teach the language are also our focus. We also appreciate people from other languages or countries who want to learn another language. Some got married to an Isoko man or woman. Some may be schooling or doing business there. No matter who you are we have you in mind. We appreciate your spirit to learn this language.
2. We also want to use this blog to teach English language too. In every society there are uneducated, less privilaged once who didn't go to school. Despite their educational background they can understand their mother tongue well. If they can read the Isoko then they will see the English word that will help them a lot.
Our objective is to make sure that everyone who is interested in Isoko language should improve on his speaking, writing, reading of Isoko language. And also to improve on his English vocabularies.
We are always happy to have more viewers, subscribers and followers because that's the only way we can know how many audience we have and tailor our teaching posts to your need.
