The way words are position in Isoko is different from that of the English language 

Let's see some common examples of prepositions or some commonly use preposition in a simple sentence

In--- She is studying in her room/O bi se obe evaọ obọ ukpẹ riẹ

On ---The book is on the table/Obe na o rọ ehru emẹjẹ na

At --- We will meet at work/ Ma te ruẹro evaọ obọ iruo

By --- He sat by the door/Ọ keria kẹle ẹthẹ na

Under -- The cat is under the table/Ologbo/Obusu na ọ rọ otọ emẹjẹ na

Over --- The plane flew over us/Arupre na ọ dhẹ/ra ehru mi vrẹ

Through --- The nidle pieses through his skin/ẹgwede na o duwu ohọrọ-oma riẹ lafi

Everyday Vocabularies You are working hard to increase your vocabulary. Here is another tip to keep you going, which will eventually make you reach your goal.  LISTEN AND READ. Be a voracious reader.
